Hand Painted Women in Streetwear

Hand painted women in streetwear.

This artwork captures urban culture, fashion, and artistic expression.

It portrays women who exude strength through bold poses and edgy attire.

From oversized jackets and graphic tees to sneakers and bucket hats, the streetwear aesthetic provides a rich palette for artists to explore dynamic compositions, textures, and contrasts.

Each brushstroke turns a fashion moment into a story.

Women in streetwear may show both fashion and power.

Streetwear can be a way for people to express who they are.

It’s not just about wearing clothes — it’s about showing your personality.

As I paint these women, I am turning fashion into art.

I may, at times, add patterns, words, or symbols to the clothes to make them look even more interesting.

Each painting is one-of-a-kind and shows my creativity.

Streetwear is a mix of style, and confidence.

The artwork can be hung on walls or printed on things like T-shirts and phone cases.

They are a great way to celebrate street fashion and the powerful women who wear it.

Hand Painted Women in Streetwear - The Process

I start each design by selecting a photo that I would like to use as a model.

I am unable to pick up a paintbrush and just start painting.

I must draw the image first.

I admit that drawing does not come easy for me.

A sketch can take hours to complete.

I have learned that I cannot finish a drawing, and immediately start painting.

I need to let the drawing sit for a couple of days, and then come back to it.

It is amazing how my perspective changes after not viewing the drawing for two days.

I can then see many thiings that need to be corrected.

For example, one arm may be longer than the other, the eyes may be too high on the forehead, or the lines on the face and neck may be totally off.

When I begin to paint, it is always my intent to use a lot of color.

I prefer that the colors don't necessarily "match."

I think the colors make the painting stand out.

The colors can also serve as a natural mood lifter, and bring joy to someone who may be feeling down.

The bright colors, added to the street style, make a really stylish combination.
