Painting different looks with the same skirt set.
I found a photo as I was browsing fashion on Pinterest, and I used it as a model.
I created several expressions of the same outfit.
I found the image to be fashionable, feminine, and somewhat risqué.
I made modifications to the original photo so that it is similar, but not identical.
The clothing, and skin on each image is watercolor.
The hair is painted with acrylic.
The eye shadow, lashes, eyebrows, lipstick, and sandals are painted with a variation of graphite pencil, colored pencil, ink, acrylic, and leather paint.
Fun fact #1: I do not know how to apply make-up on myself, but I am able to apply it on the women that I paint.
Fun fact #2: I have found that leather paint can be used in the same way as acrylic. It has a different texture, but it works the same.
I purposely matched colors that many would not necessarily put together.
ln my opinion, the color combinations work.
I knew that I would enjoy drawing this outfit because the sleeves are bunched, and the skirt is draped.
I love to sketch draped, folded, and/or bunched fabric.
I also appreciate the cropped button down sweater.
I think this look is edgy and fashionable.
I would not wear a neckline that is this low, but they would.
The high slit in the skirt adds sexiness to the image.
These women look as if they are on their way to a fancy affair, and want to be noticed.
The high heeled sandals add a final touch of elegance.
Coming up with different hairstyles is not a difficult task for me.
There are so many styles to choose from.
These are natural hairstyles (styles that could be created without the use of heating tools, or chemicals).
The women have hair that is colored red, gray, or black.
They are are all beautiful, and ready to go.
